Villages that are keeping their cultural heritage alive where contact with the people has become an integral part of the expected holiday experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We cannot fail to mention the hamlet of Palanzo, which is about 600 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest villages on Lake Como and certainly one of the richest in the past and in evidence of life and work.
